i've eyed the para hicap they have at academy, but i've heard a lot of hicap .45s have feeding probs

they tend to...but para seems to be the ones to make it work.
even if it fed well, the thought of a hi-cap 1911 w/ full mag seems cumbersome. the full size govt model is heavy ehough... I mainly want the LDA trigger that they patented. shit is sweet. figured if I was getting one that pricey, then I might as well get it smaller than the govt for more carry options. |

btw...earlier this week my new holster came in the mail...galco summer special for the full size 1911...
 I've been wearing it nonstop since I got it and it's more comfortable than one might think. as well, it makes that big ass gun virtually disappear (as long as your shirt isn't tucked in). I highly recommend this holster. |
