MSNBC interview w/the Rob Pardo, VP of game design at Blizzard:

QUOTE
"I can give you the old Blizzard mantra of: 'It'll ship when it's ready,'" said Pardo, "but it's something that historically, we've learned to keep release dates really close to the vest. I think all game developers are extremely optimistic, and we used to give optimistic dates and we'd disappoint our fans when we didn't hit them. So now, I think we've just gotten more gun shy. The only thing I can give you [that's] concrete is it's not going to be this year. Some people were hoping, because of how advanced the game looks, that we'd have it out by Christmas, but that's definitely not happening."

well that same interview mentioned that the game started development in 2003... so it could be a while. which is fine by me, as blizzard has shown that they take their time and put out awesome games because of it.

I'm pretty sure it'll be out soon.

Besides, you picked the WRONG game to compare it to...

You should have said "lets just hope this doesnt turn into another Starcraft Ghost"

The game was complete, it was about to go gold and then bam, developers were like, "No, not pretty enough nor good enough on the 360 (which just came out). Redo it" and it went bai bai

I love that kinda thought by a game company. if something is not up to their standards they scrap it or redo it. probably why pretty much every game they've put out has been of very good quality and balance.

Fuckmuffin. That word and muffintop are the two coolest things I've ever seen on this place. What would happen if a fuckmuffin fucked a chick with a muffintop? That's a lot of muffins. A lot of motherfuffin muffuckins.
