Heath Ledger as The Joker: http://www.mania.com/54766.html Looks like they're going for a more twisted/mangled look for the Clown Prince of Crime in The Dark Knight. Should be interesting to see how this turns out. I trust Christopher Nolan, and Heath Ledger's a good actor...I have high hopes for this! -------------------- |

batman begins was almost not Batman, to me. "hey, it's a ninja trained guy fighting other ninja trained guys with swords" i understand that it goes back to how batman began, obviously, but it lacked the psychadelic twisted evil/retro style crime bosses i loved.

If you're talking about villains like from the 60's tv show then HELL NO. They were funny/cool for their camp value, but I've always loved the darker setting (like the 90's animated series). -------------------- |

I dislike the batman movies that try to be too vibrant and colorful. I loved Batman Begins because it felt more like the first Batman movie to me. It was more focused on darkness and based as close into "reality" as a comic book movie could be. The Heath Ledger picture gives me the willies. I'm sure he'll do okay, but the bar's pretty high. Jack Nicholson played an insanely awesome Joker.

yes, batman and robin the movie. what i'm saying is.... superman is a fantasy guy in a "real" world. batman has his own niche, where he's a normal "real" guy with no super powers etc, in a "fantasy" world. and that appealed to me because it wasn't the normal -------------------- |
