pretty crappy weekend for Houston... Rockets go down in game 7 at home, and stros lose 2/3. Then yesterday Clemens announced he's gonna go play for the yanks... what a wishy washy son of a bitch. These dumbass old atheletes just don't get it. YOU'RE NOT GONNA RETIRE ON A CHAMPIONSHIP.

I don't know if Clemens is more interested in winning a championship or 28 million dollars...

well that's a pro-rated 28 million. he'll be getting 4.5 mill/month for 4 months. honestly though, it's not about money for the guy. he has plenty of it. he wants to go out on a championship, he thought he could do it with the astros in a big hometown blaze of glory, but they couldn't back him up with runs. honestly, the yankees can. in their last 13 losses, they scored: 4,4,1,4,4,6,6,5,6,8,4,0,4. that's a lot of runs to lose games with. besides, i'm sure he got tired of losing games 1-0 in houston. i hate the yankees though, and hope they go down in flames.

edit:
heh

well he'll definitely leave his impressions on the rest of their pitching staff. when he was with houston he kinda lifted up all the other pitchers and helped them out. and he's got plenty left, he just can't pitch an entire season.

I am kind of glad to see him gone... I think he's a great pitcher but at the same time he can be a real pain in the butt.

Houston didn't give him what he wanted, attention. It's completely different to play in Yankee stadium than it is to play in the juice box and I think he realizes that.

I wonder if the kid was going for a play on words here - something about how Clemens is trading teams like a broker in the stock market. Just a thought.
