I saw this earlier. It's a good idea in theory, but not sure how it will be in practice. Not sure how they're going to hold the landlords accountable. Who's to say the landlord knows how to determine citizenship. I don't like that it puts the burden on the landlords, I guess. I also disagree with the comment in an article about how illegal immigration issues are the sole domain of the federal government.

If this law had been in place in Albuquerque, it would've saved me a few months worth of frustration... I'm pretty sure our neighbors that got evicted were illegal immigrants.
