yeah, they've been experimenting with whether or not it would improve their turnaround times. i haven't heard anything about the results being better or worse than the current system.

i like the current seating, but they should require people to begin seating in the rear. it would be a hell of a lot faster.

damn straight. being in the front may be nice, but if everyone filed into the back first it would make seating easier. and if people wouldnt be so uppity about sitting next to people. continental planes are most always full, just sit somewhere and go with it.

southwest for the win. there's a reason they're the only airline making a profit.

i mean, aside from the fact that they locked in their gas prices 6 years ago when it was hella cheaper.

Wrong. Continental and American have both posted profits for the past 4 quarters.

Also, fuel hedging for Southwest is slowly fading: http://www.247wallst.com/2007/04/southwest_airli.html

I like Southwest's DING! program for cheap flights. I still say that I wouldnt take Southwest cross country, though.

Oh, one thing to note! For anyone who will be in college a little longer and flies home on Southwest, make sure that you sign-up for Rapid Rewards and put the college name in when it's asked for. You get triple credit and will get a free flight more quickly. Just a note.

All 4 of my flights from Lubbock to Bakersfield and back were delayed. 3 of them were more than a 2 hour delay. Seemed like most of the Continental Express Jet flights were delayed out of houston last night.

The Continental Express flights from Houston are operated by Chautauqua now (for the most part) so you can expect them to be late from now on... I vehemently avoid Chautauqua.
