Texas Education, politics, health and obestity is bad in texas.
Texas has good roads and nice people, minus places like Vider. Everyone has arrogance. I perfer the land of California but the people there suck. On that note I'm going there this weekend. -------------------- Southern Rock, beer and bears!

I was actually really well-received in Europe when people found out that I was from Texas... well, except for that one chick who slapped me, but she was drunk.

the only people i've come across internationally who haven't liked Texans were the Australians. and this is from several examples in different continents. i think it had to do with Bush, though.

yeah, I was well-received in London, but of course I was only 16 and 18 at the time, so people may have been being nice to me. I ate at the "Texas Embassy" or whatever it's called in london, now a restaurant, but formerly the actual Texas Embassy, back from when it was it's own country. Supposedly the best steakhouse in london, and shit, even just Texas Land And Cattle could grill the pants off those limeys. Britt's don't know steak for shit, but what with mad cow over there and all, I can't blame 'em. Ruth's Chris would be too much for 'em.
uh, back to the topic, the whole "cowboy thing" get's the ladies wet over there, whether you wear spurs or not. regardless of jingle-jangle-jingling. This post has been edited by zetec: May 8 2007, 05:31 AM -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.

i've already decided long ago, that if i ever go to any asian country, i would force myself to wear more cowboy clothes. would also take several REAL pairs of wranglers, etc. and would sand the skol canister shape into the pocket of them.... i heard those bitches sell hardcore over there. heh. the hats ARE exceptionally comfortable though... considering taking up wearing them every day.

I found the aussies very hospitable. in fact a guy closed his shop one day just to take me and my buddy surfing. |

A co-worker of mine and I were pretty well recieved on a business trip to PA. Although it was pretty hilarious to see how the staff at "Texas Roadhouse" acted. They all wore cowboy hats and said "yee-haw" and shit. Also were really interested in what we thought of the steaks, and got all happy when we told em they were good. "the real texans like our steaks yee haw!". heh
