I f*cking knew this was going to happen too ...
As soon as I started work, I was going to slack off in the gym, and it was going to be unavoidable ... I was doing so well as of last december I figured I was gonna be well on track to my goals I'd set to reach by march, but as it is because of work I've been lucky to be working one muscle group once every 10 days. That is just not enough, not even close, in fact it really doesn't even "keep the status quo" because I've gone down in weight like %20 since december and I'm at about where I was last july At what point do you draw the line? I absolutley refuse to let work keep me from being in as good of shape as I wanna be in, but this job pays me more than any other type of job I'm gonna get ... even though technically I'm about an inch away from getting fired from it because apparenty I'm too stupid to take multiple choice tests. I dont know. ARGH. It absolutley amazes me how quickly you can lose muscle mass you've built ... it's odd because I've actually DROPPED weight since last december and I've been working out less....I never thought that would be the case. *sigh* /rant off. -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

you're frustrated?
im having a flare up of crohn's and i'm lucky if i get to eat once a day now i get to wither away again for another summer and have my body eat itself for nutrition i wish i could live a normal fucking life...but thanks to horrible genetic ancestry i get buttfucked by a digestive disorder it's not cureable and it doesn't heal itself...i have to live with this for the rest of my fucking life the treatment? steroids... yeah that does a lot of fucking good for me the only thing that can cause a recession of crohn's is an experimental medication called remacade that contains mouse dna... FUCKING -------------------- "Ah, y'know it's funny, these people they go to sleep, they think everything's fine, everything's good. They wake up the next day and they're on fire."

FUCKING If it's a medically prescribed steroid treatment wouldn't that mean that you would be at less risk for adverse side effects? I know Chron's is a horrid thing to have though ... I don't fully understand it other than it's basically like chronic fatigue syndrome x10 ... -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

I don't fully understand it other than it's basically like chronic fatigue syndrome x10 ... http://digestive.niddk.nih.gov/ddiseases/p...rohns/index.htm I was prescribed steroids when I was first diagnosed but I could feel blood coursing through my veins and I was having definite mood swings. I'd prefer not to be on that constantly. The only treatments that are extremely effective are immuno suppressants....I'd much prefer to live with abdominal pain and mal nutrition than be susceptible to even the most simplest of infections (the doctor told me i'd have to stay away from children because of the increased risk of contracting measels and other childhood illnesses). So someone's simple cough in my direction could cause me heaps of trouble. Being on immuno suppressants would be like having AIDS. -------------------- "Ah, y'know it's funny, these people they go to sleep, they think everything's fine, everything's good. just curious. how does that help? ... Well, I know Christine had a job offer she posted about he might be qualified for. And, oh yeah, several Techsans members live there, and I'll be moving down to that area for grad school. This post has been edited by Psykopath: May 5 2007, 10:51 PM -------------------- |

so i assume you got into UT? congrats Not yet actually... My qualifications are good enough to get in, I'm applying mega-early for Fall '08, and I know my letters of rec will be STUNNING... But, all I need now is the requisite money to put with all of the other app stuff. It's all I need at the moment (yay for impending cash from relatives for graduating!). So yeah, I'm jumping the gun on celebrating quite a bit, but at the very least I'll get into Texas State for my Master's degree. Same basic Austin area mumbo jumbo. -------------------- |
