Here is why I dont like the Mavs:
1) I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY HATE THE SPURS 2) I REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY LIKE THE ROCKETS 3) The Mavs are in the same state as the Rockets ________________________________________________ Therefore, I hate the Mavs.... I dont know where the Spurs fall into this proof, but I just thought Id make it known that I hate them more than any other team And yes, I know its not much of a proof....Kiss it. |

sorry I love the Mavs.
have been to several games a year (often in those rad living room style boxes) since I moved here and just dig the organization. a few years back (I think 3?) cuban came into two rows on greenville one sunday morning after just losing one in which we actually did get fucked on officiating. he was alone with a paper. me and my gf and buddy were all getting our sunday brunch drink on and we're like the only fuckers in there. when he walked past our table I said "tough break mark"...and he was said "yeah, what can you do?" ...and sat down by himself to eat. when we got ready to split, the waitress told us he had the tab. I looked over "thanks man" and he replied "no thank you guys". sideline antics aside, he'll always be cool in my eyes for his "everyday guy" shit. I highly doubt tom hicks or jerry jones would be that rad to a bunch of crappy lookin kids like us... but hey, it's just sports... |

i hate all dallas teams. i think mark cuban is cool though. guy rules, he's the boss and doesnt dress up in suits and shit. he's the guy w/the cash and knows it.

I have absolutely no problem with Mark Cuban and, like cupcake mentioned, I like the fact that he's basically a "regular guy" that loves basketball and just happens to own a team.
It's not that I "hate" the Mavericks (or Spurs), I just really like the Rockets and, obviously, want them to do well. For them to do well in the post-season, both the Spurs and Mavericks need to lose. Plus, since a plurality of Tech students are from the Metroplex, I really want to see them get all butt-hurt over getting bounced in the first round. |
