why can't they get better lids than the ones at 7-eleven?
the starbucks lids are cheap and leak from the edges, they don't fit tight around the cup... and you can't close the lid so every time you go over a bump in your car coffee spills out through the drinking hole 7-eleven has the perfect lids... the fit tight around the cup (no leaking) and it has a sliding mechanism to close the drinking hole so nothing can spill out when you're not taking a sip i don't understand how 7-eleven can beat out a company like starbucks in the coffee arena when starbuck's whole business is dedicated to coffee |

7-11 lids AND cups kick starbucks asses. starbucks cups get all soggy and they can leak through the seam in the paper.
granted 7-11's styro-brick cups have a half-life of 12 trillion years... |

maybe because they're about $15 a cup cheaper a grande sized cup of coffee at starsucks is 1.89 a grande sized cup of coffee at 7-eleven is 1.49 7-eleven beats them on price, cups, lids, and coffee quality so, 7-eleven is cheaper and better are you trying to defend starsucks? |

Starbucks offers some of the worst coffee I have ever purchased. It always tastes burnt (I am talking about black coffee, that is the only way to actually drink it). If you want an overpriced cup of shit, go to starbucks.
This post has been edited by Dr. Gonzo: May 2 2007, 07:51 PM -------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?
