I was reading up on Virginia gun laws and it seems as recently as a just a couple of years ago there was an attempt to loosen gun laws at "gun-free" zones so that citizens could handle concealed handguns. It didn't pass.
That's not to say that such legislation would have prevented this... At this point I am not really wanting to talk about what could have prevented it, what made it worse, who's to blame, etc. because it doesn't matter. In the end, this sick Korean is going to be the subject of the news for the next week when in fact he deserves none of it. They (the news) need to spend their time making sure that everyone in America and the world sees the faces and the stories of the people this psycho killed.
