Whats funny is that this doesn't matter at all. Supreme court has already ruled on a case like this.
With howard Stern's name on the birth certificate, and Howard recognized as the father IT DOESN'T MATTER WHO THE BLOOD PARENT IS. MICHAEL H. v. GERALD D. 491 U.S. 110 (1989) Supreme Court of United States Unless the Legislature in California has changed the law, ONLY a parent of the child (or the child) can challenge the legitimacy of the childs true father. And by parent i mean the one who is held to be father (Howard in this case). So even with Stern not being the blood parent, he is STILL the father legally, and the other guy can't claim visitation rights or anything because he can't challenge in court that he is the parent of the child... So yeah, if Cali hasn't changed laws since 1989 then we get to hear about ANNA and her baby for A LOT LONGER.... god save us -------------------- |

" Yes, but didn't she hold Stern out to be the father? And since niether would have been "the husband" that the baby was born to, neither really has right to challenge. So either A) the parent anna chose gets the kid, or  we're in for new ground that lets the ACTUAL blood father get it.Sadly we still have to hear about the dead bitch for even longer either way -------------------- |

Well Howard Stern seems to be taking the news very maturely. He and Birkhead were talking about a transition period over which to give custody over to Birkhead, which I think is best for the kiddo. Plus it sounds like Birkhead has no problems with giving Stern (and maybe Virgie Arthur too) visitation rights with her.
