well not many debates on here are worth anything wink.gif it's just an interesting distraction imo. all i tend to do is rub people the wrong way in their opinions, and try to make them think outside the box (in this case, the thought that southwest airlines is bad for business travelers). i think it's healthy for someone to get riled up enough to research a topic and post on it. it makes us dig a little deeper and use more of our brains than we might if we were just posting youtube links and titty pics (although these are still nice smile.gif) to each other all day.

Anything is better than Youtube links

A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

Saw this news article on yahoo's homepage. Dont know what I think about it. On the one hand, the dr ok'd her to make the flight. On the other hand, would you want to be in a small enclosed space with someone who is sick and coughing constantly?

Sick people should not be allowed to travel. Kudos to that Continental captain.

This was because of the bird-flu scare that happened on a flight at EWR a few days prior... Lots of people became sick with flu like symptoms on that flight and they called in the CDC.

I was traveling to Lubbock a couple weeks ago. Next to me, was a woman holding a 3 year old who was sweaty, shaky, could barely hold her head up and was coughing CONSTANTLY. The cough sounded kinda like croop, though, so I wasnt too worried about it. If memory serves me correctly, croop really isnt contagious. Young children and the elderly who have been on ventilators for an extended period of time are susceptible to it. I remember when my bro was little, he would get it all the time. Still, though, I was wanting to wash my hands when I got off the plane. I felt bad for the little girl, but I didnt want to get sick

HAHAHAHA

Oh, and interesting news. The CEO of Southwest has reported that they are looking into entertainment systems for their aircraft. Interesting. The assigned seating has gone off without a hitch as well.

If they did this, I'd definitely fly them more within the U.S. If they teamed up with an international carrier, I'd completely switch.

Wait what? Southwest is assigned seating?

I hope not. I always liked having a certain boarding class. I'd always get my A pass and get there early to be one of the first 15 people on board.

It is only at a few airports (PHX and SEA I believe)
