If they did it for a publicity stunt I hope they asked Ferrari first. With Enzos you don't actually own the car, you're just leasing it from them; that's the reason why when you wreck them you can't sell any of the pieces(legally).

Maybe he's thinking of the f50. The f50 is the Enzo's predecessor and had to be leased from Ferrari. You had to be invited to buy the Enzo but you could still buy it.
