there's a video store on 19th and v that has a bunch of its windows boarded up and has "welcome to downtown baghdad" spray painted in big letters.
has anyone seen this or know what happened? it looks like someone smashed out most of the windows, and then after it was boarded up, they came back and wrote on it. |

Its social commentary. The war in iraq is destroying America, even small businesses like video rental stores. My dad's limousine rental company had to shut down because people don't want limousines during a time of war. So now my mom drives a 20' Navigator to work everyday.

the video store's windows were shot with a bb gun. There was a string of bb gun shootings along the I-27 corridor, I havent heard whether they caught the person yet.

and my dad sells birds.
