'twas eddie griffin, for the record. and that's hardly the first enzo that's been wrecked. I think something like a fifth or sixth of all the existing enzos have already been destroyed. Check WreckedExotics.com.
It's somewhat understandable, you stick people in one of the fastest cars on the planet and they drive like they're 16 again. They feel like their car can do anything. -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.

i didn't click the link because i'd already seen the video, and it wasn't mentioned anywhere in the thread.
therefore, "karma-whore" would be more appropriate. -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.

I want to wreck a $1.5 million dollar car. I bet that's more satisfying than wrecking a $2500 car.

im willing the bet the producer would set up some sort of insurance before he used his pricey car in a movie.

what i want to understand is if this was for a movie....why would the producer take a risk like that and put an actor in the car instead of a stunt driver?

auto insurance won't cover damage done on a closed track, whether it be a race track or a parking lot full of cones
they weren't actually filming for the movie, just preparing for a publicity event. some people are saying pubilicity stunt. for $1.5 million he just made the movie Redline known to ever car person on the internet. the placement of those cement barries does seem kind of iffy. -------------------- death to false dudes

Filming movies is all about permits and insurance. I would bet body parts that, assuming this was a legit accident, they had insurance for the car. It probably wasn't through State Farm or Allstate, but they had some kind of insurance.

apparently several news sites are reporting this as a prank....like a stunt done to promote the movie. they really did wreck the car, but they did it on purpose. I dont know if someone said this already...too lazy to read. Anyways, who knows.
