Hey Chuck (Impala): here is a pretty good solution to your problem...
Do you eat at McDonalds? If so, they have something on their menu called apple dippers. They only cost $1 and its a very small baggie of apples and some caramel dipping sauce. They are SUPER fortified in vitamin C because they are cut-up apples and the extra vitamin C prevents the apples from browning. That small baggie of apples has 310% of the daily value of vitamin C. $1.... for apples that come with a yummy caramel dipping sauce.... Yeah, I think its a good idea. |

well depending on how much you take, sorta works. Too much C can cause your liver to funciton improperly. Too much of anything is bad, except asian women! Yeah but it is harder to get toxicity from water soluble vitamins. I think the toxicity of Vitamin C is around 2100 mg in one day. -------------------- A psychotic world we live in. I eat McDonald's about once a year. I don't really like their food....I'm more of a burger king fan.

if you don't brush your teeth 3 times a day including your gums then they have the potential to bleed...especially if you brush really hard
that is not a sign of vitamic c deficiency...if your gums are bleeding everytime you brush then you should see a dentist probably immediately about 90% of systemic diseases can be contracted through the mouth....so...brushing and listerine are a good thing. -------------------- "Ah, y'know it's funny, these people they go to sleep, they think everything's fine, everything's good. The healthiest "fast food" establishment would probably be subway. This post has been edited by Dr. Gonzo: Mar 24 2007, 07:51 PM -------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The word healthy and fast food do not mix. The healthiest "fast food" establishment would probably be subway. the words mix just fine. there are no "healthy" restaurants. only healthy food. it's what you choose that's healthy or not. you can go to mcdonalds and get a salad, i've had that mandarin orange salad from there, it's pretty good and when you get it with light dressing it's pretty damn healthy. on the other side, if you go to subway and get the cold cut trio with cheese and mayo on white bread with chips and a full sugar soda, you're probably just as bad off as a burger and fries. you can go to just about any fast food restaurant and get something that's pretty healthy, but the point is that people don't go to fast food restaurants with that intention. |

hippy Actually, I later remembered that I got a breakfast burrito from McDonald's back in January (maybe early February). Before that, though, I've no clue when I last ate at a Micky D's. -------------------- |
