Then why the hell is this thread titled "best fighting game?"
That's like me asking people to vote for their favorite dog and being like "cats and birds and other animals are cool too i guess" ugh. |

Soul Caliber 3 is just as good, if not better ^^ soul caliber 3 took my favorite fighting styles and fucked up all the techniques. my best character is seigfried/nightmare. some say he was really slow, but he was a set up character, you had to get into one of his stances before you tried a combo, and then he was the fastest guy on the field. seung mina was my 2nd best. but in soul caliber 3, they made seigfried and nightmare 2 different people, and then gave them 2 different sets of moves that didn't flow well at all. they added too much stuff, and for some reason, it took away from the game as a whole. to this day i still have very few friends/ex roommates who will willingly play me at soul caliber 2 -------------------- |

Everyday, during lunch. We became a finely tuned machine. We also played a shitload of DOA2(LE) (the japanese LE version of DOA2 had more characters and bonuses and stuffs). I still maintain that there is not a better fighting game platform than the dreamcast. My DOA2 skills never seemed to transfer that well from that system though :/. I still have my dreamcast just for that game. And Guilty Gear X which I recently discovered. -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.

And Guilty Gear X which I recently discovered. i've wanted to play it on dreamcast, but the version i am used to is the xbox version. i hated the game cube version, it seemed like it was set on easy mode or something, and the controller just wasn't designed to operate well with those buttons. man, now i wanna get back into som sc2.. i haven't played in over a year and a half. but yea, nick and i became finely tuned machines at several n64 games.... smashed brothers, and pokemon puzzle league foremost among them. -------------------- |
