It's going on today and tomorrow, at the stadium. A group of us just went over there, some pretty cool stuff. I bought a helmet and a game ball (it looks like the helmet might have possibly been taurean henderson's, but not sure). They had about 15 helmets left, all $100 each, they've got unused game balls for $50, and a crap ton of jerseys (most of them used in actual games) for $50 and up. Looked like every sport too, lots of baseball and basketball jerseys.
btw: anyone got any good close up shots of taurean henderson (w/his helm on) from 2002? |

oh and on the helmet, I'm not sure it's Taurean's but it is definitely the same style of facemask he wore, and it's from 2002 (at least, there's a sticker that says "recertified 2002"). it could be from 2001 I dunno. I know that facemask style was pretty much just used by the DBs and RBs.
I'll post a pic of it when I get back into town, but this is pretty much it (except in place of "Raiders" across the center of the forehead, it says "Air" or something.

here's the helmet.. anyone wanna help figure out whose it was? same facemask as taurean used, most definitely was a DB or RB. sticker on the back says "MEETS NOCSAE STANDARD 2002" "NAERA MEMBER".

i wished i'd have bought more stuff now. anything you could think of, they had it. every kind of jersey from every bball/fball/baseball/men/women, cleats, workout sweats, balls, etc. they do it every year apparently. |
