I reckon that there have got to be ways of getting a brand new system, state of the art, all the latest gear (except the exceedingly nerdy stuff like customs cases 'n shit), for free. Probably paid for by some third party, or advertisers or something, but I am curious if anyone has heard of getting a new system this way. Seems like it's a definite possibility, but I don't know where to start

What benefit would advertisers get from that? Oh yeah, you're going to reach a HUGE audience from your home office.

if you find out, lemme know. I've come to the sad realization that upgrading literally any part of my PC would require me to build an entirely new one. (With the exception of maybe the sound card -- they still make those PCI, right? everything else seems to be PCI express and SATA and DDR2 and SLI etc etc etc... none of which i have)
-------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.
