well at the rate they're going... I know my tuition doubled from my freshman year -> graduation (granted, was six years

of course, there is a disadvantage to a free education.... it will mean that a graduate degree will be ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to get ahead in the job market.

Yeah, there's no reason for that. Grad school is already free most of the time with the availability of research and teaching assistantships. I paid for books and a few fees, but that was about it.
