A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

It was pretty heavy rain down here, yeah.

I'm still getting used to driving in the rain in a lightweight car. When in rained in Albuquerque, it rained lightly... so yeah. I had one scary moment yesterday when I fishtailed coming out of a turn, but I didn't overcorrect or hit anyone/anything, so it was ok. The old 4runner I used to drive had incredibly good traction and never once fishtailed, to my recollection. I could go 90 in the rain in that thing without trouble if I really wanted to... so it spoiled me on rain driving... lol.

The library is flooding...BAD. Fifth floor stacks study rooms on the south side...yikes. The roof looks like it will cave in.

I've already seen 4 cars flooded out. This is the one time in my life when I have wished I had a truck.
