if they're going to pay people to sift through millions of hours of information, i hope it means they have to read some of the conversations i've had in the past with kevin. |

1) Recording IM convos and email correspondences would require cooperation from the IM and email companies, as that shit's all encrypted.
2) My god, can you imagine the space that would be required to store all that data? 3) And sifting through that much data? Gimme a fucking break. Gotta love stupid lawyers who know jack shit about the internet. -------------------- |

Chat programs are not very secure to begin with. There are already things to read AIM/MSN/Yahoo messenger programs, and log them.
Hell, there are also options where you can do word replacements. Everytime somebody would try to say "the" you could make it say "JEWWWWW" omg everybody use tor or some shitz ! -------------------- QUOTE (Lance) now we have some dude from argentina wondering how to fuck dogmeat |

I'm a nosy person....I totally wouldn't mind the job of being a person who reads peoples online shit. haha, that was my first reaction too. they will obviously have to hire a ridiculous number of people to read whichever text strings the scanners pick out as potentially important. we should all start talking in code, for humor's sake. |

The box filled with turnips is ready for pickup
-------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?
