badass piece of software that will take a pic, rasterize it similar to what you'd find in a newspaper so it's scalable to any size, and creates a PDF of the image for you to print out at home (or kinkos, or the school library, etc) and hang up. check out the gallery on the website, it makes for an awesome effect. here are the two i've done:  and  David Gilmour from Live at Pompeii (Pink Floyd) (source image below since my pic's all blurry)  you can do color ones too, but my inkjet cartridge is dead and the library charges .50 per page of color, that'd be like $16 for me. post your own!

ha i went through a whole hp color ink cartridge to print a 7 meter long image for my garage a while back.
