O_O i was just searching online today to see if CBS or ABC would ever get HD in LBK... I was hoping it would be OTA though... both CBS and ABC have >1W transmitters, so I've read, though sad.gif

is it 720p like Fox or 1080i like NBC?

well i'd assume that since suddenlink has it, it's also OTA. i don't think it was broadcast ability that was the hold up, rather just licensing and equipment. Now to just get ABC and we're all set w/the locals!

at first glance i'd guess it's 1080i, but i can't tell for sure (TV is hooked up straight to the reciever which upconverts to 1080p, so to the TV everything is '1920x1080x60Hz'. TV upstairs is just the opposite... downconverts everything to 720p, so can't tell there either smile.gif

i prefer 720p to 1080i, motion looks better smile.gif

biggest thing i'm worried about it being OTA is that CBS and ABC both have really weak transmitters here in Lubbock. :/

i'll rescan for new channels later tonight

just got back from a business trip... to see suddencocks has also now added:

TNT HD
HGTV HD
FOOD HD
A&E HD

so now they have:
PBS
KLBK (CBS)
Discovery
KCBD (NBC)
Fox
ESPN
HDNET
HDNET Movies
Universal (bravo channel)
TNT
HGTV
Food network
A&E
HBO
Showtime
Starz

now just get me FSN, ESPN2, history channel (don't even know if this one exists), and ABC in HD and i'll be happy
