Yawn

ok...so, move along then...

if you don't care for something, you don't have to post on it. notice how many threads on these forums I don't post on? that's because I have no interest, nor have input.

the internet mistakingly made everyone think they were supposed to add their two cents even if it were tripe. which is a false delusion.

after reading that post the first thing that comes to mind is 'Booya'

I'm content with my Mossberg 500 shotgun for now, but I've considered getting a pistol just to shoot at a range/my friend's ranch.

Anybody used the Browning High Power before? I like the Mk. III model.

oh...my bad...

I've never fired the browning HP. I know that many of the "flaws" of the 1911 he supposedly fixed when he made the HP.

but if so...then how come it's not as widely popular? hell if I know.

oh and hey you're in lubbock right? go check out sharpshooters before you buy that thing... i remember when i was looking i saw taurus trackers there for less than what the link you pasted was asking. i wanted to say i had them down to around $450, and the tracker is prob a notch above that one.

here's the taurus i'm talkin about:
http://www.taurususa.com/products/product-...tegory=Revolver

another one i almost got was the ruger GP101:
http://www.ruger.com/Firearms/FAProdResult...p;type=Revolver
also for mid-high $400s at sharpshooters.

i'm pretty sure they're both available blued too
http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/sto...amp;isFirearm=Y
and this is the smith i got (was around $550 at sharpshooters)

edit: bah nm... i thought the gun you linked said $500, not $300. heh oh well, pretty cool deal

http://www.gunsamerica.com/classifieds/none/_976830520.aspx
Purchased...kinda by accident.
Didn't realize the "contact seller" prompt constituted an offer on that site
Now I need to figure out how to finish the deal, and hope the two other sellers
I contacted don't accept those apparent "offers."

Now I need to make sure I have enough moneyzzzzzz for the rest of the month/semester. innocent.gif

Oddly enough, I have never fired a gun. I would like to go out to a range sometime and try it out.

dude I'd bet there is someone in the LBK that rents guns. And usually if you have no prior experience they will give you a short 10 minute class. I am a member at DFW guns and they do that all the time.
