I am skeptical of this article. The first article that I read on this subject said they only have claimed to find an herbal medicine to help fight aids along side other treatments. On CNN, it even went so far as to say that they did NOT claim to have found a cure, but an aid. This appears to be negative propaganda to make Iran look bad.

A couple of things...
1) GASP! The Israelis want to make Iran look bad? Shocking. 2) It's hard to not to make fun of their dumbasses when Fars reports: "After seven long years of arduous work, Iranian scientists here on Saturday introduced a herbal medicine which cures Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS)." |

Herbs, while usually cheaper, are not inherently safer than commercially-produced drugs.

i'd use a natrual herbal alternative any day over some mass-produced man-made synthetic chemical made by evil pharmaceutical companies that suppress natural cures so people are forced to buy their drugs

they make chemical "patches" for your body that treat the symptoms but not the underlying dis-ease that caused the problems

herbal remedies can be useful and ineffective.
a mix can be just as useful. like sleep aids. melatonin gets you asleep, equate sleep aid keeps you asleep. -------------------- 32-bit whore

The money is in treatment, not the cure. Why devise a drug that could wipe out aids when you can slowly treat it over a ten year period with a slew of different drugs. $$$
