ok, so i got bored this morning, since i do not sleep much and the wow servers were down and i decided to download the test realm stuff to dick around with the new changes.
the test realm is different to me. the last time i used it, they made a copy of your character. this time they have generic lvl 60's setup. their gear is quite suprising. everyone starts with the tier 0 class set, (not bound by class) with no enchants which is quite blah however, the other gear they give you is ridiculous choker of the firelord (+34 spell damage) dragonslayer signer (1% spell crit) band of forced concentration (+21 spell damage) zandalarian hero charm (+250 spell damage for 30 sec, dimished returns etc) talisman of ephemeral power (+175 spell damage for 15 seconds) staff of the shadow flame (2% spell crit, +84 spell damage) touch of chaos (+18 spell damage) forgot: chormatic cloak (%1 spell crit) which is some crazy gear, for someone with tier 0 anyhow, fun to fuck around on anyone without level 60's should play on here to see what it is like (cathryn) oh, and the connected flights feature is kind of cool This post has been edited by TetraGrammaton Cleric: Mar 7 2006, 10:22 AM |

31% of unrested xp to go before I hit 51 and can start the rep grind in AV with my rogue. So close, yet so far away!

Rogues have a level 50ish quest, might be level 52 though. It's the quest to get the Ebon mask. Look it up on Thottbot, I would but I'm at work. I remember I did it for Courtney's rogue while she was at work one day. It's a small quest chain that requires a few drops in Azshara which take FOREVER (forces you to grind though) and then you have to kill one of the dragons in ST.

Basically, it's normalizing all ranged weapons to be considered as a 2.8 second attack weapon for abilities like multishot and Aimed shot. This means that weapons slower than 2.8 seconds will do slightly less damage with those abilities. Weapons faster than that will do slightly more damage.
This is not a nerf. This is weapon normalization. The difference will be very, very insignficant. Hunters don't need to be nerfed. You need to learn how to not suck. -------------------- |
