This is one area where the French have us beat. They protest by tearing through police, turning over cars and burning shit up. It's a shame, really  I wouldn't be so disillusioned to say that I would do all those things at the heat of the moment, unfortunately, but damn, it sorta saddens me that when the police hits, they don't hit back Protestors will ALWAYS outnumber police. Meh.

I laughed at that video...
The protesters act like it's Kent State with complete and utter chaos and they are going to make people feel sorry for them because they get a taser shock. Maybe if they protested like the counter culture of the 60's and 70's instead of hiding behind a mask and spray painting crap they would get some respect. I was at the Texas capitol building during the Nazi rally and there were some people dressed just like the tards in this video and you know what, their cause isn't even known because all they want to do is start an uprising (violent). Oh, and another thing, it's pretty bad when people who are protesting something don't really know why they are protesting...
 "Why are you protesting the recruiters?" "Because this is an illegal war" uh huh... ok, so let's protest recruiters. What?! The recruiters didn't call for an invasion and people aren't being drafted. Of course recruiters lie. Do people really think a potential recruit wants to see pictures of maimed soldiers? No. I don't agree with all of the recruitment methods (ie. the phone call at the end) but protesting recruiters because you can't organize enough people to protest the war is stupid. In France, they start revolutions/protest to change their governments. In most cases, these overthrows are quite violent in nature. The only war that I can think of where the French were "split" was world war 2. That was due to two different factions in France. One was the catholic, conservative, jew hating French who sided with Hitler. The other was of course the secularist, communist, and the liberals who fought Hitler. They have a history of revolutions, this much is true but when push comes to shove the French will band together to fight off enemies. The stereotype of the cowardly French is undeserved. For the civil rights movement, this is fine because the issue was with the people protesting. It's a little different for this situation because the issue does not concern those protesting so to do it illegally and have the dogs come out does nothing to make me think about the issue. They tried shutting down a street to protest. Those who were in the street got tasered. I agree with hartman about not knowing why you're protesting. These people are seriously society's rejects.
