-------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

No one cares about Russia anymore! This is actually very true... I was reading a military strategy book last week and it was stating that Russia is actually ignored in a lot of scenarios. Their presence is included only when the scenario calls for a large scale move back to their communist regime, something that is possible I guess. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

I think that a lot of people forget that Russia may not be communist/huge super power but they still have A LOT of nukes...

I think that a lot of people forget that Russia may not be communist/huge super power but they still have A LOT of nukes... That was brought up as well. Russia is currently selling some of the nukes (as is the U.S.) to be used as fuel in nuclear power plants. What concerned this writer was that as Russia continues to dig itself into debt it may be forced to sell nukes to anyone, just to continue running the country. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |
