if this happens, we will build a snow palace complete with a snow army just like that tomb in china.

Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

Dallas is interesting when there is snow and ice involved... The roads were dry yesterday, so everything was fine, today there is no ice really but people don't know what snow is and freak out when they see it. I was going 45 on the freeway, which I thought was reasonable, especially with deicing stuff and sand on the road... What is really weird is how much stuff is just deserted. what was crazy is that a lot of businesses and schools were closed but DISD was not all my meetings were cancelled so i "worked" from home -------------------- ![]() |

I gonna try to actually go into work tomorrow. I got all of the ice off my car (up to an inch thick in places!), so I'm ready to brave the long-ass driveway tomorrow.

My boss said that even if Lubbock gets 10 inches of snow, work will not be canceled.

that's understandable
lubbock gets snow often enough that it's not too much of an anomaly although austin had an excuse because from what i understand the ice storm was intense -------------------- "Ah, y'know it's funny, these people they go to sleep, they think everything's fine, everything's good.
