for people who make the argument that the death penalty deters people from commiting violent crimes...bullshit you're right, it doesn't. but if it was death by having your intestines eaten by a tiger while you're still alive instead of a gentle medical-like procedure, i think you'd start seeing some deterrent. or if you got publicly caned for vandalism, you'd prob see less vandalism |

BITCHES, BRING BACK THE COLISEUM! -------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. How long have we known this? Faced this? And--how many of us do know it? Perhaps if you know you are insane then you are not insane. Or you are becoming sane, finally. Waking up. I suppose only a few are aware of all this. Isolated persons here and there. But the broad masses... what do they think? All these hundreds of thousands in this city, here. Do they imagine that they live in a sane world? Or do they guess, glimpse, the truth...?

yes, if you continued to read my post, i sorta went in the direction that we need more violent acts as form of the death penalty like cutting open their stomach and pouring salt and lime juice inside of them but the mexicans would have an immunity because of the tequila they drink...... -------------------- |

I think some of what has been said in here is cruel A man who kills 35 young women and eats their bodies does not deserve humane punishment, then again the constitution also says to the contrary... -------------------- A psychotic world we live in. Really? I think it is quite the opposite. All you have to do is watch US media, foreign policy, domestic policy, fire arm regulation. This country is the most barbaric modernized state in the world...

Specifically, what do you find barbaric about this country? Murder Rates, worship of violence, death penalty, just to name a few. I don't actually support the death penalty... my earlier posts were in jest. QUOTE are you forgetting China? Whoops, change modernized to western industrial democracies Plus, many people do not consider china totally modern This post has been edited by Dr. Gonzo: Jan 18 2007, 01:27 AM -------------------- A psychotic world we live in.
