Predator sentenced to spend life behind bars

"I hope you give him a sentence so long that when he leaves prison, it'll be in a pine box," Piepmeier said. Hamilton County Common Pleas Judge Charles J. Kubicki agreed and sentenced the 32-year-old Winton Hills man to five life prison terms on five charges of rape. Kubicki then added 96 more years for 12 charges of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor. That means Kraft will never be eligible for parole. Kubicki also designated Kraft a sexual predator, which comes with lots of specifications if the defendant is free, but means little in regard to a life prison term. "These are the most horrific crimes a person can commit short of murder," Kubicki said. "You victimized the truly innocent. You deserve to be punished for each of these crimes." Kubicki convicted Kraft last month of raping his 3-year-old daughter, offering to show it over the Internet, and possessing child pornography. Kraft, who waived his right to a jury and allowed Kubicki to determine the verdict after a trial, said he is innocent. He blamed a corrupt justice system for his conviction, calling it a horrific injustice. Kraft said he will appeal the conviction. One year ago, an undercover U.S. Secret Service agent in Miami met Kraft in a Yahoo chat room called "baby and pre-teen sex." In an online exchange with the agent, Kraft offered to rape a 3-year-old live on the Internet if another person would do the same so Kraft could watch. That 3-year-old was his daughter. The undercover agent contacted Hamilton County sheriff's deputies, who went to Kraft's home and arrested him. Piepmeier said investigators found that Paul and his wife, Robin Kraft, repeatedly sexually abused their children - sons ages 1, 3, 5 and 6 and the 3-year-old's twin sister - during 2004. Authorities found the home in a squalid condition. Even more disturbing, the children had few language skills, according to prosecutors. They have since thrived in foster care and the Hamilton County Prosecutor's Office is seeking to permanently revoke the Krafts' parental rights. Robin Kraft, 25, also is charged with abusing their five children. She was indicted Aug. 26 on 17 charges, including rape, attempted rape, felonious assault and child endangering. Her next court hearing is April 12.

I just got a phone call from women I dont know, in a state I've never been to.
