All I know is that I dont even mess with my mp3 player for organization. I organize my music (like Zetec was saying) in folders so all my music is really organized. The only thing I need to somehow organize is this folder that I have called Incomplete. Basically, anytime I want a single song, I will download it from Limewire and throw it in there. That folder is HUGE. It takes forever to load. I need to somehow fix that. I have about 120 gigs of music now so Im needing a little bit more breakdown in my folder system

yeah i've got around 140GB of music and decided a couple years ago to tag them properly, and that took several months of pretty tedious work. but now i just do it whenever i get new stuff so it's easy to keep up with.

it's easier if you dedicate yourself to only downloading full albums. They usually come tagged pretty decently anyways, at least nowadays.

so my sister has a second generation nano and it can only sync with one library. so, if she tries to add stuff from another computer, it asks her to delete all her old music.
so, how is that circumnavigated? i am not really familiar with ipods and my sister is not really a technology person. |

Music torrents are usually pretty fast, especially since they're (relatively) small. -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.

Songbird is pretty good software. I use it on my Mac and even though there are a few glitches and slow downs the developers are quick to correct them.

ya i'm nasty as a freshman cunt when it comes to organizing my music
mine is like harmann's Music -Artist --Album ---Song(s) I use iTunes (bash me if you want) cause it's easier to organize the albums, artists, tracks, CDs, etc. But i might have to look into that media monkey. The hard shit for me right now is i had a like 3000 MP3's of scattered music, but I'm getting so anal about it i'm just taking all those artists & getting the whole albums just so everything is neat & organized. Another shitty thing for me is when i left LBK to EP i forgot my box of CD's in my closet (120ish). There were some House CD's in there that I can't find anywhere online. -------------------- |
