I think the reason the fade wasn't as effective this season was because Jarrett Hicks was pretty much MIA this year save for three or four games. He was much better than Joel Filani and heads and shoulders better than anyone else in catching the fade.

I, too, am excited about the young guys. L.A. Reed is a beast, Todd Walker is a burner, Edward Britton is dangerous with the ball in his hands, Michael Crabtree could end up being the best receiver that has ever played for Texas Tech, Adrian Reese is huge, etc.
