Ok so I had to go take a pre-employment physical for work today.
They had me do a "pullminary"-something test, where basically it was a measure of how much air you could suck in and exhale. I failed this test somehow :wtf::wtf::wtf: I tried it 6 times, and couldn't get it to peak over 8. A guy who had been smoking for 45 years did the same test and passed it :wtf: How in the hell could I have failed this? I run at least 2 miles 4 days a week and play hockey games twice a week on top of all that :wtf: I couldn't for the life of me pass this breathe test. I'm literally in awe right now I dunno are any of you familiar at all with this type of thing? -------------------- I r Ur Gawd!

I think its gay.... so what if i cant breathe out really hard? I think you are fine. I wouldnt worry too much about it. |

Try blowing up balloons and working up your diaphram. That test sounds really stupid to me.

Yep, did one of those at Sandia. Despite having allergies and asthma, I passed it just fine.

it could also be your lack of adjustment to the thin air.
i did one of those things in high school. first in the class was a swimmer, second was an athletic trainer with shot knees. start sitting underwater and helping bandage people up. its sure to win. -------------------- |

they're supposed to let you retest anytime within a week to see if you can pass. i took my stupid breathing and cardio test less than a week after the doctors put me on a breathing machine. i was so bad brandon had to drag me to the dr's since i couldn't even drive myself.
i failed the first test because my knee popped. i took it again later that day and passed. -------------------- ![]() |
