eh... for my own personal experiences i like it ok... kind of a forced savings account. i scowl when i see what comes out of my paycheck, but i damn sure love that huge check i get come tax time. it seems to, for the most part, help people in the lower tax brackets because they typically get their money back, gives incentives to owning a home, etc.
i think sales tax should be reworked, it doesn't make sense to me to have individual sales taxes by city/county/state whatever anymore, considering the amount of online sales nowadays. |
