YES austin needs a loop... i'd rather the 6 hour drive to lubbock than the buttfuck that is austin driving. Really all of 35 sucks balls, but it goes through austin when it pisses me off the most so meh. And while 410 is bad during rush hours (like most cities get traffic at that time), its way better than places like dallas and such. Its just being worked on right now so its narrow, but still not that bad... I'd take 35 in Austin over 410 in San Antonio anyday... not to mention that I-10 in San Antonio is butt fucked for the next couple of years also. I have sat in 5 o'clock traffic in both cities and while it takes longer on I-35, I dont fear for my life like I do on 410. I'm not scared of driving, you San Antonio drivers are scary as shit. |

After driving there San Antonio is pretty tame to me... but yeah, i also drive a standard, so you may prefer to sit on 35, but i HATE stop and go with a passion. I'd rather have people driving "crazy" and over 5 mph. |

I am going to Chicago pretty soon and being there before, I think Dallas traffic makes it look like a cakewalk. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

so as long as you live north of the roundrock/pfluggerville border then you can get to San Antonio without paying a toll fee. Wrong Look at the picture again You are not obligated to pay any toll to travel on I-35. The alternative route is tolled, if one chooses that -------------------- QUOTE (Lance) now we have some dude from argentina wondering how to fuck dogmeat |

The alternative route is tolled, if one chooses that yeah, i thought it was illegal for states to impose tolls on interstate highways. could be wrong though. is dallas traffic really that bad? I don't really have any problems. then again, i'm leet like that. -------------------- WAIT. I'm not finished.

Nah, i don't have a problem with dallas traffic, just saying that its worse than any San Antonio traffic could be In general it moves pretty well, it just comes to a standstill in places where no thought was put into the design, ie, 635 and 35E, 820 and 183/121, etc. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |
