I love how that article goes into detail what kramer said but nicely left out what started it. And I love how disguisted people are that kramer used all these racial slurs yet no one cares that black dude also used them. "Cracker" "fucking white boy" .... hrmmm.

You'd have to be an idiot to think that "cracker" and "white boy" are remotely close to the word "nigger." One happens to be the term used to for a people who were considered less than human (what was the population law: 1/3 of a man for each slave that is owned towards the state population count ... amount of congressmen)

Should it be used by other black men to call each other? no, but it also holds a great racial consequence when used recklessly or maliciously

Ok, reading some of the comments someone who claims to have been there says this:

I was there and those guys were calling him cracker. That part is not on the video.

If someone calls you a cracker, you have every right to call them whatever you want.

And to seth:

I don't give a shit what that term meant 300 GOD DAMN years ago. As of today, cracker is equivalent to nigger. Both are equally held as racial slanders. Society changes in time and language does as well. After all, it makes no sense to call white people crackers when we don't use whips nor own slaves. Get out of the past. It is 100% used in a degrading fashion. Just like the term nigger.

hes the one that went over the line because he started doing that because a black man was talking in the audience, not necessarily heckling. so yes it was uncalled for. not only was an audience member being singled out (some clubs dont allow comedians to do this) but it was in a horrible way. "50 years ago you would have been hanging" something to that affect? pretty bad.
yes black comedians talk about white people this and white people that but honestly even on the horrible BET nights i havent heard something like that
for emphasis it wasnt just a joke in a line of jokes it was in reference to an audience member
ive also heard that he regularly does this, its his bit. i dont know if thats true or not but i heard it from a few people
