yeah there's a big difference. the .38 is nice (cheaper, less wearing) for targets though.

When I have $850 just sitting around it will be mine!

yeah it looks like cupcake was dead right when he said they typically go for > MSRP. when I picked up the 357 at sharpshooters the other day the brushed finish one was like $1100. they had one that said "mil spec" that was $699... not sure what the deal was with that one. seems like lots of people make them though.

the milspec stuff is lower quality. still functional stuff, just not as precise, accurate and polished as the nice models.

springfield makes a fairly inexpensive "GI" model 1911 that is nice. but that one you posted is straight up tits.

like comparing the chevy W/T to a top of the line silverado.

I'm liking this 12-guage DB "Coach" gun quite a bit:

I've always wanted a nice side-by-side.

went to phoenix for thanksgiving. my bro inlaw is a swat guy and we went out to the desert for some quality trigger time.

I haven't fired that much in I don't know when...several hundred tax payer dollars in ammo. I'm still sore and that was on saturday.

regardless, he busted out this rad little derringer...but this thing was so freakin rad. I fell in love with it:

it shoots .410 shotgun shells and .45 colt bullets (think BIG ass bullet). talk about a hand cannon. given the tiny size, it wants to jump out of your hand when you fire it. fun fun fun. I don't know what you'd use it for (maybe a boot gun?) but it was rad.

Yeah, can't those fuck up your wrist if you use them very much?

Day after thanksgiving i went an put 100 rounds through my 870 at the Skeet course, that was fun. Only 63/100 but i haven't shot in a year and a half.

here is the kooky-ass website, but really, if you read around on it, you'll find some outstanding deals. mossberg shottys for great money...Aks for dirst cheap. you just order it and he ships to a local store (costs you a bit in fees, but not much).

I know this old man and he's a good shit. Just kinda whacky. you'll see what I mean...
