fairly big for a small town, has a mall, ut tyler, some other college, dallas is close by
kinda like lubbock but not run down, not mexicaned out, and not ghey also has trees |

I might take this job there ... it'd be 8 weeks of training in ft. wort then I'd move to Tyler for a year then I might go back home after that ...

good place, used to be closer to it that any other big city.
Good size mall, restraunts, entertainment. People are generally nice... but its a big city you have a mix. I'd consider living there. |

Nice sized small city
Hicks Football is king, they have a history of great high school football close to dallas and lousiana trees -------------------- A psychotic world we live in. The madmen are in power. My grandparents live in Tyler. To be honest I think it is growing way too fast for it's own good. There's a mall and a lot of lakes but that's about it.
They have a regional airport which makes getting in and out pretty easy (a little puddle jumper flight to DFW). Like Gonzo said, football is definitely king.
