I get shit like this spammed to me all the time....what is even the point of this email?

the point is to get you to reply saying, "what the hell??" then they know the email address exists

They don't even need to reply. I have my mail server setup so that if anything comes in flagged as spam it bounces immediately. A ton of random messages are sent out to generated addresses and if an error comes back then they know the e-mail does not exist.
