oh and back on the topic: a couple handguns I've had recommended for a fun shooting + plenty of home defense power: Ruger SP101 Revolver link Ruger KP95 9MM link (and hartmann, yeah a simple .22 rifle was highly recommended as well) i would recommend that .38 special <3 -------------------- "Ah, y'know it's funny, these people they go to sleep, they think everything's fine, everything's good. They wake up the next day and they're on fire."

That's probably better than the Mark 12 Mod X (SPR):
![]() Since it uses the M1A (M14) body (easier to maintain). -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

Drool... I'd want that or this: ![]() I'm not a big fan of bullpups. there are too many things I can see me bitching and moaning about with them...ejection port and chamber right by your head, so you can't fire in left hand/around corners. mag is under your armpit, which makes tactical reloads a long-lost ally. I do like that you get a true rifle barrel in a short package. I know countries use them. I just have used forward mags for 15yrs and it would be like learning how to drive euro-style. |

That's probably better than the Mark 12 Mod X (SPR): ![]() Since it uses the M1A (M14) body (easier to maintain). yeah, probably. but the mark 12 is supposed to be a pretty rad rifle. my buddy who's a DM for blackwater employs one and loves it. for the record I've never used the m14 in any operational capacity. but shoot the hell out of it all the time. it's extremely gratifying. the only rifle I've ever swam with, froze with, lived in the sand with, etc was the m16/m4...so they can't be all that bad. but I have had them doublefeed and straight up freeze (like the bolt is to the rear, mid-action) due to wet sand and neglect when I was a boot. armorer was not happy at all. as long as everytime you sit down to eat and take a break you clean it, it won't let you down. but neglect it...and it will neglect you. there is a reason ruffians love AKs... battlefield pickup ...I'd grab an AK anyday over the m16. anyday. edit: I feel like such a douche talking about this crap sometimes. I hope I dont come off that way. honestly dont mean to. |

Not a douche... Educated.
My two Army buddies that use M4s wish the Army would give them something new and better.
