... doesn't properly remember what threads I've viewed. I'll look at threads, come back a bit later and hit "view new posts"... sometimes the threads I've read remain marked as read, sometimes they show up as unread again, even when nobody's posted new stuff in them. WTF. This happening to anyone else?

It's nothing to do with my cache or cookies. I've cleared them and had the same problems. I don't visit any other 2.0 boards, but I've never had this problem on any of the 1.3 ones I've been on.

it works fine for me, although i have had that probem with the old 1.3 version and phpBB

it's not a problem specific to the board, it's a problem with your browser/comp, usually clearing my history/cache/cookies and fiddling around with my settings fixed it

you can try from another comp or use a different browser to verify it works and is localized to just your comp/browser

Happened with FF 1.5 and now with 2.0. I cleared my cache and cookies again this morning and it's still doing it. Maybe I'll try with IE, but blech...

You two go through the same switch/router, that's probably the culprit, turn it off/on. Clear the cache on it and turn off caching.

I'll try that, but why would the router be causing problems? It seems like it would be cookie related.
