Phoenix is hot as fuck... you probably don't want to live there. Hot as in 104 degrees at 3 o'clock in the morning in July/August hot.

yeah, but there is hardly any humidity so it isnt that bad. I grew up in desert weather... the only thing that sucks getting in the car in the afternoon.

i live in houston, 5 miles from my office building in downtown..595 a month..pretty damn cheap for inside the loop

houston smells like poop though from what i hear

i wouldnt live in dallas or houston if my life depended on it. really the only place in texas that i like so far is Austin. El Paso wouldnt be so bad if there was more to do and there werent so many damn border jumpers. I have never been to Corpus though... so maybe I would like it there. Honestly, I would like to live in Florida... so awesome there.

i judge a lot of places before going there, but i had no opinion on dallas until i went there. its waaayyyy too damn spread out. i dont know the difference between dallas, plano, ft worth, arlington, addison....i just dont know...its like butt fuckage of metropolitan. I need seperation from other places.... at least with Austin it only has small little suburbs...next closest thing is an hour and a half away and thats san antonio.

and deep ellum (sp too lazy) sucks ass.... its scary shit and a dump

downtown austin has a lot of bums, but they are nice as hell.... except dont agree to have a cross eyed bum help you back a 2 ton truck out of a parking space designed for a compact car... youll hit the car behind you sad.gif even though mr cross eyed man said to keep moving back

I have a tentative offer for 30 doing something that I really enjoy, but I also have a offer for around 40ish doing something nowhere near as fun.

Decisions, decisions.

that's good to know about san antonio; i've only seen the riverwalk area, which i guess isn't a good view of the whole city. i know the extra $$ for going to phoenix isn't a decision-maker difference, but it helps. i'm willing to go pretty much anywhere, and getting away from the family actually has a lot to do with that, haha.

i still have until i graduate (may) to really decide what i'm going to do, this was just the first offer.

we have a lot of counterparts in tempe, AZ and most people i know that have been have hated the place, and it is insanely hot. honestly you need to spend a few bucks and visit both cities. nobody here can tell you which one you'd like better.
