Give it a real thought. What are you passionate about?
QUOTE pasâ€Â§sion  /ˈpæʃÉ™n/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[pash-uhn] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation –noun [SPECIFICALLY] 1. any powerful or compelling emotion or feeling, as love or hate. 4. an instance or experience of strong love or sexual desire. 6. a strong or extravagant fondness, enthusiasm, or desire for anything: a passion for music. 7. the object of such a fondness or desire: Accuracy became a passion with him. 8. an outburst of strong emotion or feeling: He suddenly broke into a passion of bitter words. 9. violent anger. 10. the state of being acted upon or affected by something external, esp. something alien to one's nature or one's customary behavior (contrasted with action). Politics? In what way? I feel like if you are truely passionate about something you seek out information, activity that involves, includes, or works towards the thing. Culture? Social Inequality? Playing sports? What is your definition for "passion"? Is anything excluded from being able to be passionate about? For example can one of your passions just be having a good time? How important is it for someone to be passionate about things? In a relationship sense is this something you seek out in others or are you indifferent? -------------------- Little monkeys making money

Nobody is going to admit to being passionless. But we all know that plenty of people are. Really? I feel like I've never really had passion for anything. Never really developed any interest that I cared enough about to maintain. No strong opinions on religion, politics or whatever. Kind of seems like a family trait. They only thing I might consider I've been passionate about is reading. Books, magazines, comic books, whatever. -------------------- death to false dudes

I'm passionate.......about your mom; oh, I'm sorry I meant with your mom.
No, I was actually thinking about this earlier today and I used to be passionate about alot of things in high school, but currently, I am 91% devoid of passion......I suppose that's unfortunate. -------------------- Je suis toute du merde.

I'm passionate towards the people I care about. I actively pursue some form of relationship with them although I'm the first to admit I am still not very good at this but it's something I'm working on. I think about them and think of ways to help them in my own way when they may need help. I take an interest in their lives.
I'm passionate about people in general. I'm interested in what makes people tick as a species, culture, society, and individual and that deals into what I'm passionate about in politics. I like reading about these things and pursue further knowledge. Goes directly into what I'm in school for. And I suppose one of my passions is actually finding things to be passionate about. I go about this by reading about things in newspapers, the internet, books, or stuff I get from my classes. I have a passion for increasing my passion. The common feeling of wanting to "do more." I suppose also that I'm passionate about books and reading in general and music but I know plenty of people who are far more passionate than I am about those two things. At first thought I think oh no I'm not passionate about anything but I do care about things. I try to do something about them so to me that means a passion or drive. I don't think you have to be heated over an issue, dedicate your life, or be a gungho asshole to have a passion. And I think you can be passionate about anything. There is no hierarchy or ranking system where one passion means more than another. Say you don't think you are passionate about anything or feel you are lacking. And say you want this to change. You must feel its important if you want to change this, why do you suppose that is? How would you go about becoming passionate? -------------------- Little monkeys making money

I'll be honest, I don't think I am really passionate about anything.
I dabble in a few things, but I don't really have a passion for anything in particular. It's bothered me in the past. A lot of people have things that they always do, not me. I like sports, but just a little. I like hunting, but don't want to do it every weekend. I like computers and programming, but I like to get away from the monitor. And so on... -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

I'm trying to regain my passion for learning. Ironically, getting out of school will help.

electronics. i have this obsession with making every electronic device in my house being able to talk to each other and do something interesting & useful.
chevy muscle cars. while i currently don't have a big enough garage to have a project car, as soon as i do i think the money will shift over from the electronics to the car. entertaining. i love to plan it out, fire up the grill and invite a bunch of people over. |
