Yes, but considering that China has veto power in the UN, getting an international force together against them may be difficult.

It gets my vote. Russia gets pulled in and nuclear war ensues.

i dunno, i don't think china would side with them. they wouldn't risk open war with us. i would guess in the end china would value their relations with us more than NK.

china has relations with us? tongue.gif

wide open countryside = shooting gallery for us. i dunno who described NK as jungle like and comparing it to vietnam, but that doesn't look like the case to me.

i wouldn't go as far as comparing it to vietnam's jungles, but yeah there are plenty of green mountainous areas as far as i know.

Seriously guys, I think this could be world war 3. My vote goes three ways. Some how we defeat both china in russia in world war but the world is totally fucked by the nukes. china and russia somehow manage to win and nothing is left of america or china but there are still pockets in the middle east that people can live in. Or maybe China wins the war somehow and becomes the new super power, IE it will not actually break out in world war but could lead to a massive depression in the United states because of a huge national debt, consumer credit card debt, several different wars going on around the world, and tax cuts out the ass. And china in another ten years manages to overtake our economy and the economies of the world. Just a theory imo.

eh I wouldn't worry about russia much as far as open war is concerned. the only thing i would worry about russia is any old weapons they have lying around that could end up in al-qaeda hands.

Hell anyones hands. Don't forget the conflict in India/pakistan over the border regions. This could lead to direct nuclear war as well. for example while the rest of the world is fighting north korea and china, two of the last communist power houses left over from the cold war, these two nations will engage in their own war. This could lead to all out world war.

Russia not so much, it is only a possibilty, they may help with north korea as part of an international coalition. However, I think that if we go into north korea it will be too close to china for their own good and they will get involved. Only a theory.

first of all, notice the little smiley i put after my comment.
second... uh, so you think because we buy cheap labor from china and have a walmart there we're best buds? our governments are not allies dude. it's almost like a mini-cold war between our two governments and it's not even like it's that big of a secret. china/russia/n. korea are pretty good allies (all communist/former communist) whom hold talks regularly...probably about things they don't want us to know. if you don't know this i don't know what else to say.

Putin tells everyone to lay off N Korea... Russia will be a strong proponent of NK. No matter what people think, Russia still has a strong Communist leaning, evening if on the outside they are a democratic state.
