Don't know how much credence I would give to Acer though... -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

oh i agree with the guy, it's probably more of a ploy to get people to buy the 10% more expensive one. it was my understanding that the basic version would be for lower powered PCs. not sure though.

i have to say one complaint so far of mine is that the damn thing doesn't seem to save your folder view options. in xp when i get a folder view like i want it, then go to folder options and apply to all folders, it does it for all folders, but it doesnt work that way in vista for some reason. it seems almost random as to whether it follows the options you set.

It's not random, it's a "feature".

I actually get something very similar in OS X. I will go to a folder, choose the "detail" view and do whatever I'm doing, close Finder, come back to that same folder and my options will be back to what they were even though it's supposed to remember. Pisses me off. -------------------- "There is a level of cowardice lower than that of the conformist: that of the fashionable non-conformist." |

My absolute favorite from the whole copying thing, was when people make it a point to talk about calendar being ripped off.
Seriously....CALENDAR ? !?! wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh -------------------- QUOTE (Lance) now we have some dude from argentina wondering how to fuck dogmeat |
