Right, no question of that. It would be a bad move for apple, but I would still like to be able to use OS X.

another tidbit, while the fresh install of RC1 was mega fast, upgrading from RC1->RC2 was painfully slow (took like 1.5 hrs). normally i'd never "upgrade" i just didn't feel like re-installing everything again.

What virus protection are you using? I have not worked on my Vista boot that much but the symantec i have from school does not work.

yeah i dont use virus protection really. i'm just really anal about IE settings and what i download and such. i usually have IE set to prompt me on every cookie and activex control. it's annoying for a couple weeks on a fresh install, but once you get around to most of the sites you visit it goes away.
