Everyone of these guys needs to be tazered for our viewing pleasure. They are showing up to have sex with children... I dont care how "omg so hornyz" they are, if you think they are a child and show up to sex them... tazer. If not for people like "perverted justice" (or whoever the orginization is that does this) these guys would be in the chats looking for REAL kids... honestly, thats scary.

right, not guilty of "intent to commit pedophilia", but is guilty of having sex with a minor, which no doubt is much worse punishment, and more than likely happens way more often. so should they have real underage kids ready for sex, and the cops can bust the guys after it happens so they can get the bigger charge? |

If these practices are considered ok, what's to stop them from sending you some fake tax form and nailing you for tax fraud? Or buying you a few extra drinks at the bar and then following you out and giving you a PI ticket? did you know that TABC can hire children under the age of 18 to attempt to buy alcohol under their supervision (them standing outside or somewhere else)...if the child is sold alcohol then BIG TROUBLE sting operations are used all the time to convict criminals.... everywhere from cops going undercover to buy drugs to cops selling drugs themselves to make arrests. the only difference is that in this case, the person only THINKS they are doing something illegal (because lets face it, they know fully well its illegal to fuck a 13 year old). The reason for this is, cops cant hire underage kids to talk dirty on the internet. The state of mind of the criminal is all that matters.... same with conspiracy to commit murder being illegal... STATE OF MIND.... and despite what spivey said, this is not a thought crime... because the THOUGHTS were transformed to WRITTEN ACCOUNTS OF A DEVIANT WANTING TO FUCK A 13 YEAR OLD. |

The real tragedy is that 13 year old pussy is even MORE elusive now !

[/b] Did you know that if you ask the person in question how old they are, they can't lie to you ? Or that the TABC is i believe, obligated to use people who don't look 21+ in their sting operations ? Its not so cut and dry. -------------------- QUOTE (Lance) now we have some dude from argentina wondering how to fuck dogmeat |

It never ceases to amaze me how the american public loves to watch things like this. As long as they know what to expect in terms of content there are no complaints, most of the time. But G-d forbid if it "unexpected" or it shows things they think shows the horrors and truth of things they don't want to acknowledge. War for example.

because the THOUGHTS were transformed to WRITTEN ACCOUNTS OF A DEVIANT WANTING TO FUCK A 13 YEAR OLD. so if I type the words "I want to steal a car" is that a crime? can the cops arrest me the next time I walk towards a car that's not mine because I say that on the internet? |

If it were clear that you really did want to steal a car, a particular car, and you walked towards the car you said you were going to steal with the equipment to steal it, then yes, you are guilty of intent to steal a car. -------------------- ![]() |

so if I type the words "I want to steal a car" is that a crime? can the cops arrest me the next time I walk towards a car that's not mine because I say that on the internet? I guess what you fail to understand is that these persons aren't arbitrarily arrested for saying they want to have sex with a 13 year old. The intent derived from phone calls, pictures emailed by person, the act of actually driving long distances to see the "child", all show that these men are being arrested for the right reason. If you watched, they released on of the guys because his "conversations" didn't constitute enough of an intent of why he showed up at that house. All of the conversations are documented and presented as evidence at trial. A reasonable jury can tell when a conversation, added with action of trying to see the girl, is or isn't a man seeking to ACTUALLY have sex with a 13 year old. There is nothing bullshit about setting traps to catch law breakers. |

They said they were going to show up... If you are caught on your way to go steal a car, yes its a crime....although hard to prove |

There is nothing bullshit about setting traps to catch law breakers. i agree they're being arrested for the right reason, the gray area to me is whether what they did is actually a crime. from chat to house to cuffs, a 13 year old human being was never present, and yet that's the grounds in which these men were arrested. and yeah these guys are sick, but fuckin A so are these old, male police officers starting the chats in the first place... makes me wonder how many of em go home and chat up the real 13 yr old girls for practice and jollies. no, but there is a difference between wanting to and saying you are going to. you're right, there's a huge difference, but how do you discern the two? (especially enough to make an arrest) |

but how do you discern the two? (especially enough to make an arrest) um- hey 13 year old girl, let's have sex -- okay - i'll meet you at your house in an hour... to have sex --sounds good -great, i'll see you in an hour for sex have you actually watched any of these episodes, or was this thread just you bitching about something that is legal and fairly common? this is nothing more than a "Cops" sting episode that deals strictly with pedos. maybe you were on this show and are still pissed about getting caught? |

So let's say your girlfriend or wife has these explicit internet conversations with another man and she agrees to meet him at his house to have sex. But let's pretent this other man was you in disguise because you knew there wasn't something right about her so you set up this "sting". The door knocks, you open it and there she is, wearing her hottest lingerie, wet and ready and she is sickenly surprised it's you and not the hot stud she met online.
Now you're going to tell me you'd let her off the hook because, though it was clear she had every intention of cheating on you, her opportunity was thwarted by the fact it was all a set up? You're going to tell me you would continue to trust her after that? This is the same scenario. These guys know it's wrong, but TRY to do it anyway. Just because it was all an illusion, doesn't mean they aren't sick criminals who need to go to jail. -------------------- ![]() |
